Mission College will participate in the Toys for Tots Tournament at Allan Hancock College December 2-4. They will open with Fresno City College at 3 p.m. on December 3.
The Allan Hancock College women's basketball program has teamed up with the Toys for Tots Foundation of Santa Barbara County the 2021 Toys for Tots Tournament. Fans who bring an unwrapped toy worth $10 or more free entry for that day. Toys for Tots is collecting toys for children up to 17 years old. Volunteers say there is an increased need for assistance this year. They plan to distribute toys to 500 families in the Santa Maria area and 3,500 families throughout Santa Barbara County this holiday. They expect to distribute more than 20,000 toys to children in need.
